Pakistani Madrassa Students Qualified For the Finals of Turkey’s Tech Competition TEKNOFEST

 

Jamia Bait-us-Salam Talagang, a Pakistani madrassa, has recently participated in Turkey’s biggest Science and Technology competition, Teknofest.

Teknofest 2020 Technology For Humanity Project detailed results have been announced recently.

According to the results, students from a Pakistani madrassa Jamia Bait-us-Salam, have qualified for the final round of TEKNOFEST 2020. The festival will be held on 22-27 September 2020 in Gaziantep, Turkey. 

 

 

Blatu, the Pakistani madrassa Jamia Bait-us-Salam team, has qualified for the finals and topped the “Technology for Humanity Project” with 87 points out of 100!

 

TEKNOFEST 

Teknofest is the most popular science and technology competition held in Turkey.  

The Teknofest Aerospace and Technology Festival is organized under the supervision of the Republic of Turkey’s Ministry of Industry and Technology, and the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3).

They aim at making a move of national technology and transformation of Turkey, into a technology producing society with the support of Turkey’s major institutions and companies.

Teknofest this year has 23 different categories of technology competition including the Biotechnology Innovation Competition, Agricultural Technologies Competition, Environment, and Energy Technologies Competition, Intelligent Transportation Competition, Educational Technologies Competition, Helicopter Design Competition, Jet Engine Design Competition.

 

Jamia Bait-us-Salam

Jamia Bait-us-Salam, Talagang is one of the most promising Madrassas of Pakistan breaking the stereotypes.

It is not the first time that the students of Jamia Bait-us-Salam have received this kind of appreciation in a science and technology event. Earlier in 2019, the students from the same madrassa, Jamia Bait-us-Salam, won the HITEC University Taxila’s robotic competition Robofiesta.

The robotic squad of Jamia Bait-us-Salam secured the competition by beating the students from more than 20 Pakistani Universities!
 
Other than the robotic competition, they also won the best Urdu Speech and the spelling bee competition in the same event.
