Trump Issued Orders Banning Businesses with TikTok and WeChat

US President Donald Trump has issued executive orders on Thursday, to ban TikTok and WeChat across the country.

Trump issued orders banning business transactions with Chinese companies that own TikTok and WeChat.

Trump has ordered US companies to terminate business transactions with Bytedance, the owner of the social networking app TikTok and Tencent, the owner of WeChat, within 45 days.

The order, signed by President Trump, also called for strong measures against TikTok owners for US national security purposes.

The President of the United States has accused the Chinese applications of spying on US customers and celebrities.

Trump’s administration warned earlier that it had stepped up attempts to get rid of Chinese social media applications TikTok and WeChat from United States digital networks because of their untrustworthy and questionable characters.

The United States has also portrayed Chinese-owned companies TikTok and WeChat as a significant threat to US security.

On the other hand, the TikTok administration has decided to send a legal notice against the disputed order of the US to ban on TikTok and WeChat.

The company once again denied the allegations, saying that US consumer data is completely secure like all consumers around the world and the Chinese government has no illegal control over the consumer data.

In addition to the order, US President Donald Trump also approved a ban on the WeChat app from the Chinese company Tencent.
